A huge array of local and international food will be on offer at Market Harborough’s Food and Drink Festival this bank holiday weekend

The two-day festival is being organized by Market Place, the UK’s leading operator of Continental and special event markets, and operator of Harborough Indoor Market. The event will be held in Welland Park, on Welland Park Road, on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th August 11am to 7pm and is aiming to showcase the very best of the regions producers. Market Place are delighted to announce that the festival will include cooking demos on both days from BBC chef Stephanie Moon and celebrated chef Anjula Devi. Stephanie Moon will be cooking on at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, featuring recipes such as Market Harbour fresh Crab, Seabass and a roasted scallop, pea puree; Market Harborough Lamb cutlet, Feves, courgette, potato terrine and a fleuie sauce and for dessert a Spiced Apple Cake, flambéed Apples with hedgerow blackberries and brandy Sabayon.
