Bolton Food and Drink Festival to welcome delicious Continental flavour

Market Place are delighted to once again join the much anticipated Bolton Food and Drink Festival along Victoria Square from Friday 26th – Bank Holiday Monday 29thAugust. Market Place will be returning with a fantastic selection of International traders and products from across the globe as shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a great variety of tasty treats and unique cuisine!

Solsolet Tapas will be cooking up a storm with their Mediterranean tapas as the Greek Grill House will be drawing in foodies with the delicious smells of the traditional gyros and moussaka being cooked fresh at the market.



There will be a huge Traditional German Schwenkgrill where you will find the always popular Bratwurst and Currywurst sausages, along with tasty Spanish churros and Meats of the World who will be bringing a variety of exotic meats including Ostrich, Wild Boar, Kangaroo and Crocodile!



French Bakery Le Petit Gascon will be in Bolton with a huge selection of freshly baked tarts, breads and viennoiserie pastries. To find these, simply follow the endearing smells or even the French singing!


Tentazioni UK Ltd will be in Bolton with a huge variety of cheeses, hams, Italian biscotti, nougat, chocolate and even cannoli, showing the true quality of Italy!

Why not then wash all these savoury foods down by choosing from over 50 different coffee bean flavour and tea leaves at Jimmy Bean. Fancy something with a little more fizz, then make sure to visit Vin Van Voom bringing a sophisticated range of wine, prosecco and champagne.

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
