Market Place to keep prices low for traders

As a thank you for the continuing support of our regular traders we have decided that all of our regular Continental Markets will be kept at the same price as last year. We hope that this will also encourage even more traders to join our team of professional traders. 

We have already added many of the events for the 2016 calendar to our website and are pleased to announce we will be visiting popular locations such as Glasgow, Sheffield, Leicester, Stoke, Lincoln, Nottingham, Exeter, Newcastle and Kilmarnock to name but a few! 

Our calendar is certainly looking busy already and we cannot wait to see all of our traders again in March when the markets kick off, as well as hoping to welcome some new faces to our team. After a successful 2015, we are excited to return to a number of regular locations as well as a few new locations and events including Skegness, the Exeter Food and Drink Festival and the much anticipated Bedford River Festival! 

If you wish to apply for any of our events, please log into the website and apply for any which have been confirmed and listed on the website. However if you are a new trader, please find our informative blog post here offering more information on how you can join our team and apply for any events! 

We plan to add more events as they are confirmed and the Christmas Markets are usually added to the website in the summer months. 

These prices may not include one-off Specialist Markets or Christmas Markets. All prices for the Continental Markets will be confirmed via the website as well as being listed in the confirmation letters sent to all successful traders.

Pitch for a Free Market Stall at Harborough Market

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities. They are offering a 6-week rent free period in a bid to attract new traders to the hall and to promote the market as the ideal location for start-up businesses.
