BROMLEY SET TO WELCOME CONTINENTAL MARKET FULL OF TREATS


Market Place are delighted to be returning for the tenth year to Bromley to host a four-day Continental Market from 11th to 14th May 2017 located on the High Street. The Market will be bursting with flavour and a wonderful variety of crafts from across the world. There is something for the whole family!


Just some of the tasty flavours which will be drawing in visitors include Sol Solet serving up Catalan cuisine of Tapas and Paella, The Greek Grill House with traditional Greek cuisine including Gyros, Souvlaki, and Greek pies. Plus delicious French Crepes, Waffles and Galettes with toppings to suit a

ll tastes and for the more exotic taste buds Meats of the World will be serving up Ostrich, Kangaroo and even Crocodile Burgers - be quick before they get snapped up!
If you’re not sure you will like it and want to try something new, ask for a sample from our friendly traders.




Whilst you wander around the market, sampling the great Food products on offer, from contemporary premium cheeses (each item has its own distinct flavour and character) to a little heat from The Wilshire Chilli Farm selling an array of sauces and fresh chillies including a Hot Chocolate Habanero, which is 142 times HOTTER than a Mild Jalapeño. If that’s not for you then can relax and browse some of the great Craft and Gift stalls including G and G Global Gifts Collection with an amazing selection of wooden furniture, carvings and figurines all the way from Bali which are Fair Trade and Ecologically sourced. Plus find Italian silk scarves, handmade hats, ponchos, dream catchers and of course, the famous Dutch Flowers on Tour will be back selling a huge array of shrubs, bulbs, beautiful plants, trees, some great garden ornaments, even giant windmills, is it time to update your outdoor space?

Thursday – Saturday: 09:00 to 18:00

Sunday: 10:00 to 17:00

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities. They are offering a 6-week rent free period in a bid to attract new traders to the hall and to promote the market as the ideal location for start-up businesses.
