Exhibition Road to welcome continental flavours and International Craft for exciting Festival

Market Place is returning to Saltaire this September with the award winning Continental markets from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. With over thirty-five traders from all over the world, there is bound to be something for everyone, as the sounds, smells and atmosphere will be drawing shoppers in.  

Come to the Continental Market to explore some of the best craft from a number of countries, making the perfect gift or even treat yourself and your home with something a little unique. 

From South American jewellery and knitwear, crafts made from sixpence coins and Fairtrade wooden carved figurines from Bali to Italian silk scarves and Amber jewellery, it is all here.



There will also be a great selection of tasty foods from all over the world to get taste buds waggling. Spanish Paella, Greek gyros, German Bratwurst sausages, French crepes, Welsh hog roast, Italian olives and nuts, are all but just a few to mention!


There is bound to be something for the whole family and there is certainly enough to explore in Saltaire this September!

Friday to Saturday 09:00 to until 20:00
Sunday 10:00 to 18:00

Pitch for a Free Market Stall at Harborough Market

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities. They are offering a 6-week rent free period in a bid to attract new traders to the hall and to promote the market as the ideal location for start-up businesses.
