Global flavours to arrive in Seaside town this July

From Thursday 21st - Sunday 24th July, Market Place will be bringing a fantastic selection of traders from across the globe to Lumley Avenue for a fantastic 4-day Global Village Market. Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a great variety of tasty treats and unique crafts and gifts from all over the world!

The Greek Grill House will be offering the famous and traditional flavours of Greece including moussaka and gyros whilst Crepes Temptations will be cooking fresh French Crepes and Galettes with a range of tasty toppings such as fruit, chocolate and other sweet and savoury goodies.

Other delicious flavours to arrive in Skegness will include Thai noodles, Spanish churros, German Bratwurst and Currywurst sausages cooked on a huge Schwenkgrill, delicious Mediterranean Tapas and even Belgian macaroons.


It’s not all about food though as Market Place will be bringing a fantastic range of crafts and gifts from a number of countries such as South American knitwear, Amber jewellery sourced from the Baltic Sea and G and G Global Gift Collection will be bringing a huge variety of Fairtrade wooden carved figurines, ethically sourced from Kenya.



Market Place Markets Manager, Matthew Hartwell is excited about Market Place coming to Skegness for the first time:

Friday & Saturday 09:00 to 18:00.

Sunday 10:00 to 17:00

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
