Christmas Markets 2016

Market Place are delighted to announce another year of exciting Christmas Markets! Our popular festive events are always a huge hit with traders and the visiting public who can come visit us in a variety of locations across November and December.

Belfast Christmas Market 
Saturday 19th November - Thursday 22nd December 2016 
Monday- Wednesday: 10:00am – 8:00pm   (Bars until 9:00pm)
Thursday - Saturday: 10:00am – 10:00pm (Bars until 11:00pm) 
Sunday: 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Grounds of Belfast City Hall, Belfast
Market Opening: 12noon on Saturday 19th November 2016 (Xmas Lights will take place between 6.45pm - 7.30pm)
Market Closing: 8:00pm on Thursday 22nd December 2016

Pitch for a Free Market Stall at Harborough Market

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities. They are offering a 6-week rent free period in a bid to attract new traders to the hall and to promote the market as the ideal location for start-up businesses. Sairah Butt, Market Place and Harborough Market Manager said, “Many well-known brands started life on a market stall.
