The sun hits Halifax International Market

The UK has welcomed the sun this week and we think our Halifax International Market is the best place to get your unique BBQ essentials!

No BBQ would be complete without burgers but why not add an exciting twist and visit Meats of the World who offer a fantastic selection of exotic meats including kangaroo, ostrich, buffalo, venison and wild boar!

Want the perfect bread for those buns? Le Petit Gascon is a traditional and authentic French bakery who have the best fresh bread (the traders actually get up at 4am every morning to start baking and prepping all their products!) All you have to do is follow the delicious smells - or even their singing!

If you don't want to have your own BBQ there is still plenty of fantastic choices for the perfect summer flavours including Island Spice Grill who will be serving tasty Jamaican jerk chicken, Caribbean sauce mix, spicy veggy wraps and even veggy rice pots.

Another BBQ essential is obviously the sizzling sausages and where else are you going to find authentic German Bratwurst and Currywurst, cooked on a huge traditional German Schwenkgrill!? Continental Cottage are also offering up to 20 different homemade salamis, all from their family butchery in Germany.

Once you have savoured the essence of a unique BBQ you can visit Coffee Express who have a fantastic range of ice creams, smoothies and the very best of slush to keep you cool!

The market is home to over 40 traders from all over the world who have brought an exciting collection of some of the best products and flavours from their country of origin!

The Continental Market will be in Halifax from Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th May 2016:
Thursday to Saturday: 09:00 to 18:00
Sunday: 10:00 to 16:00
