Bromley to welcome delicious continental flavour to the High Street

From Thursday 12th– Sunday 15th May, the High Street will become home to over 20 different traders representing 11 different countries including France, Germany, Thailand, Italy, Greece and more all with some tasty treats for the whole family!

Along with a tasty range of Catalan tapas, there will be freshly handmade pasta and sauces including ravioli and gnocchi, Jamaican jerk chicken, Italian hams and cheeses, Greek gyros and authentic French crepes.


In addition to the tasty dishes on offer, we will be bringing a great selection of crafts and gifts from all across the globe. Casteneda will be offering some beautiful hank knitted South American knitwear along with beautiful jewellery and even a selection of traditional musical instruments.

Amber Silver will also be in Bromley with a beautiful selection of Amber Jewellery. Business owner Marta explains Amber making is very traditional within Poland and Marta learnt this authentic and traditional skill through her Aunt. Amber's nickname is 'Polish Gold' and is sourced via the Baltic Sea and is always popular as they are something different which cannot be found in many shops. With so many different designs, Amber Silver offers the perfect gifts such as the Amber candles, ornaments and amber trees which are gifted for good luck!

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
