The traders at Harborough Market and their diverse offer are the special ingredients that make the Market so distinct. We have spent a lot of time and effort in making sure the formula to create a successful daily market was right. Partnership working with the local authority has made a significant and positive impact on the market offering for the town of Market Harborough.’

‘The entrants for the ‘Retail Business of the Year Award’ were all of an extremely high calibre and we looked at measurable results, an ability to build on their reputation for retail excellence and the contribution each entrant made to the economic stability of the county.

‘We took the time out to ‘mystery shop’ each entrant over three weeks and the decision was tough because there were many strong candidates.  Harborough Market demonstrated a real community collective between the traders, the ability to generate employment and being a focal point for the local community.
