Market Place will be returning to Fargate, Town Hall Square & Peace Gardens this April for another celebration of Culture! From Wednesday 27th April to Bank holiday Monday 2nd May 2016, Sheffield will be playing host to over 45 global traders who have travelled from all over the world to bring an array of tastes and unique crafts from their country of origin.
Shoppers will be drawn to the exotic and delicious smells of the flavours and tastes from all corners of the globe as Much More Than Tapas will be bringing the best of Spanish and Mediterranean Tapas, Island Spice Grill will be offering Jamaican style jerk chicken whilst the Cheese Board will have a range of cheeses from a huge range of countries.
Minot Markets will be bringing tasty traditional handmade French crepes, galettes and fresh Brussels waffles. The family company has been operating for 10 years and have many years of experience and knowledge which has been handed down. Originally from Nice in France the family create quality and freshly made crepes that attract many from all over the world with plenty of different toppings including Nutella, banana, strawberry’s, nuts and more!
The French traders also still use the traditional methods of creating and turning over the pancake via the speciality spatula which is a method from Brittany and perfect for the thin crepes! The family believe, in addition to the quality and unbelievable taste of their crepes, customers enjoy the experience as they consider watching the crepes being made is a show within itself!
Market Place Manager, Matthew Hartwell expressed his excitement for returning to Sheffield:

Along with the delicious food, there will also be a fantastic range of crafts and unique gifts. Afrika Unite will have a selection of Handmade Cutlery jewellery made from recycling old cutlery as well as animal figurines created out of recycled metal. The huge Dutch Flowers on Tour will be returning to Sheffield with a huge range of flowers, plants and bulbs, all from Holland.
