Market Place to premier International flavour to Gloucester

Award winning Market Operators, Market Place are bringing a fantastic International Market to Westgate, Southgate and Northgate street this March. From Saturday 19th – Tuesday 22nd March the city centre will be buzzing with a fantastic family friendly atmosphere with over 30 traders who have travelled from all over the world to be here.

There will a fantastic range of delicious flavours for visitors to explore and experience from Italian tapas, Jamaican chicken, Spanish paella, Traditional German Schwenkgrill, Snowdonia cheeses and French crepes to Thai noodle bars, Churros, Greek Grill House and exotic meats from around the world including Ostrich, Impala, Crocodile and Wild Boar.




Market Place Operations Manager, Chris Hulley is delighted to be visiting Gloucester for the first time,
“We are thrilled to be visiting Gloucester as it is a beautiful city and perfect for hosting the International Market. The market is set to be a brilliant event and there is going to be plenty on offer as an abundant of countries are going to be represented, showcasing the best of their countries!”

There will also be a great selection of unique crafts and gifs available, offering shoppers a unique experience. Not only will there be beautiful Italian silk scarves and handmade metal sculptures in hundreds of different models and themes but there will be a massive Dutch Flower Market offering flowers, bulbs, plants and characters for your garden.

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities. They are offering a 6-week rent free period in a bid to attract new traders to the hall and to promote the market as the ideal location for start-up businesses.
