
From Wednesday 6th– Sunday 10th April 2016, there will be a range of tasty options available including Maharaja Catering with a range of Indian foods such as Samosa, Rice, Wraps and a range of Curry. There will also be a Greek grill, Spanish paella, a Traditional German Schwenkgrill and even French Crepes.
If you want to test your taste buds this April, make sure to visit the Wiltshire Chili Farm who use their own home-grown chillies in a huge range of products such as chilli plants, sauces, jams and even chocolate! The Chilli Farm uses a huge range of chillies including fully loaded Ghost pepper plants, "We've been slowly refining this strain for a number of years now and believe we have perfected this!"
Business owner Simon Morgan also uses Trinidad scorpion chilli sauce, Naga chilli salt, Dark habanero chilli sauce, all recommended to be extremely hot! “Our Hottest sauce is called God Slayer at 1.5 mil and we also have a range of Carolina reaper, the hottest chilli in the world!”
Market Place Operations Manager, Chris Hulley has said:
“Our traders are very much looking forward to returning to Sauchiehall Street for the first time in 2016. This location is perfect for us to showcase all the fantastic traders we have at the event and there is certainly going to be plenty for visitors to explore whether it is for that diverse lunch or even a unique gift for someone.”
During our visit we will be celebrating the Grand National on Saturday 9thApril. Our friendly Market traders will be dressing up as jockeys and horses adding even more character to the Global Village Market!
