The Exeter Christmas Market 2015

The nights are getting darker, the woolly clothes are making appearances and the sound of Christmas carols are starting to creep into the crisp November air which can only mean one thing... the start of the Christmas Market season!

This year the Exeter Christmas Market is open every day from Thursday 19th November - Saturday 19th December 2015 along the Exeter Cathedral Green (EX1 1HX) and we have a fantastic selection of continental and local traders for you to come and meet at the festive market.


There will be some delicious smells attracting shoppers including Spanish tapas, German bratwurst, Italian biscuits and nougat, cheeses from around the world, Hogroast and of course a selection of tasty mulled wines, continental beers and locally brewed cider.

Just some of the craft includes Casteneda with a huge range of beautiful South American knitwear, WAPPA will be bringing enchanting lights from Thailand such as star lanterns and G and G Global Gifts will be in Exeter with an enormeous range of handcrafted wooden figurines, all ethically sourced. 

Local traders include the return of Emma's Soaps, a very popular stand with beautiful handmade and organic soap, perfect for gifting or treating yourself. Ash Iron Works will be offering a fantastic range of handmade wrought iron products including candlesticks and sculptures, all made in Devon at Branscombe and Powderham Forge. Fine Country Lifestyle will also be returning with Chutneys, sauces, vinegars, fruit juice and Charcuterie made in their local farm in Devon. 

Pitch Perfect competition winner, Radshore Ltd will also be here with a fantastic range of surfing inspired clothing sourced from sustainable manufacturers who use economically sound processes to minimise negative environmental impacts, whilst conserving energy and natural resources. 

Market Place will be giving away £1,000 worth of Market vouchers in our Photo Competition where visitors can send in their pictures of them enjoying the festivities and celebrations at the Christmas Market. The Market Opening times are: 

Monday – Wednesday: 10am – 7pm (bars till 7:15pm)
Thursday – Saturday: 10am – 9pm (bars till 9:15pm)
Sunday: 11am – 6pm

Sheffield Global Village Market

From Wednesday 6 th - Sunday 10 th July, Market Place will be bringing a huge selection of traders from across the globe to Sheffield for a fantastic 6-day Global Village Market. Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a great variety of tasty treats and unique crafts and gifts from all over the world! Along Fargate will be the Greek Grill House who along with business owner, Dimitrios will be offering the famous and extremely traditional flavours of Greece. After owning a busy restaurant in Zante, Dimitrios believes his tasty Greek foods are so popular because they take you back to your holiday as all ingredients from the Pitta Bread and flour used to the cooking methods are all traditional and authentic. From Wednesday 2 nd to Sunday 6 th November 2016, Market Place will be returning to Sheffield with an array of traders representing a number of countries from across the world. Bringing the very best flavours, crafts and goodies, there is bound to be something for everyone at this family friendly event. Hungry shoppers will have plenty of culinary delicacies to choose from including authentic French cheeses, Spanish paella cooked to a traditional family recipe, Italian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven at the market, delicious Greek gyros, succulent hog roast and even Thai noodles! Why not test your taste buds by visiting the Wiltshire Chilli Farm with a range of products made from their own homegrown chillis including jams, sauces, salts, peppers and even chilli chocolates.
