Nottingham’s Old Market Square to be invaded by flavour



Market Place are returning to the centre of Nottingham and they are to be equipped with a whole range of Continental traders, bringing a huge array of tastes and flavours for shoppers to explore. From Wednesday 7th– Sunday 11th October 2015 the East Midlands will be able to explore a number of countries represented including Belgium, Poland, Germany, France and more! 

With over 45 stalls to discover, shoppers will be spoilt for choice amongst the different flavours including French bread baked on site, Thai noodle bar, Traditional German Salami House, Bottled Quirky beers, French Crepes, Moroccan Street Food, freshly baked macaroons, handpicked strawberries and so much more. 

It is not just about the food though, as there will be a variety of craft from a number of traders including a huge Dutch flower market which will be offering shoppers a range of flowers, bulbs and small wooden figurines to help decorate your home. There will also be a selection of beautiful Amber jewellery, Italian Silk Scarves, fused glass items and Wire willow sculpture to name but a few. 

 
Market Place Manager, Matthew Hartwell has said:

“Market Place is very much looking forward to visiting Nottingham for the third time in 2015. The Old Market Square is the ideal location for our huge Continental Market and traders can really show the best of their products. There is going to be a great deal of choice for visitors to choose from, there is bound to be something for everyone.”

Wednesday to Saturday: 09:00 to 18:00 
Sunday: 10:00 to 17:00

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
