National BBQ Week

As summer slowly approaches, the UK celebrates National BBQ Week and we have some fantastic traders to get you in the mood for the UK'S summertime favourite activity!

This week Market Place will be in Kilmarnock for a 4-day Global Village market with over 40 traders representing a great range of countries and of course bringing the very best products they have to offer! There will be some delicious treats, unique crafts and gifts as well as number of local businesses showcasing themselves along King Street, Portland Street and The Cross.

Market Place will also be bringing a Traditional German Schwenkgrill with the very popular Bratwurst and Currywursts, al cooked fresh on site on the huge Schwenkgrill! There is also a selection of Spanish paella, Mediterranean Tapas, Greek gyros meat skewers, we even have a Welsh Hog Roast!

Meats of the World will be in Kilmarnock this week, bringing something a little different as not only do they bring the BBQ staple burger, but burgers with a twist! Why not add an exciting twist and add a fantastic selection of exotic meats to your sunny day including kangaroo, ostrich, buffalo, venison and wild boar!

The Kilmarnock Global Market will take place from Thursday 2^nd June – Sunday 5^thJune 2016:

Thursday to Saturday: 09:00 to 18:00

Sunday: 10:00 to 16:00

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market.
