Market Place excited to join tasty Accrington Food and Drink Festival 2016

From Friday 3th and Saturday 4th June 2016, Broadway will welcome over 20 different traders representing a variety of countries including Italy, Greece, France, Thailand and more, bringing something for the whole family!

Last year’s revamped and revitalised event was one of Accrington’s biggest crowd-pullers, with more than 10,000 people filling the town centre for a day filled with flavours and family fun.

This year’s festival will have a truly international flavour, with stalls selling foods from Malaysia to Mexico, India to Italy and Africa to the Caribbean. The Continental food market will be bringing speciality foods from across Europe to the heart of East Lancashire.

Coun. Clare Cleary, Cabinet Member for Accrington Town Centre, added: “Last year’s Food and Drink Festival was a huge success and this year’s looks set to be even bigger and better. It’s a superb family day out for all age groups to enjoy, so make Saturday June 4th a date in your diary to come along and join in the fun.”
