Kilmarnock to welcome International Flavour this summer!

From Thursday 2nd - Sunday 5th June, King Street, Portland Street and The Cross will become home to over 40 traders representing a variety of different countries including Italy, France, Germany, Holland and more, bringing something for the whole family!

There will be a huge range of delicious treats for visitors to explore including Indian snacks, traditional Scottish confectionery, Spanish paella, Greek Gyros and Moussaka, traditional German Schwenkgrill selling Bratwurst and Currywurst Sausages as well as Welsh hog roast!

There will also be a great variety of craft and gifts from across the globe for shoppers to explore. Castaneda will be in Kilmarnock with a number of South American clothing, knitwear, jewellery, dream catchers and traditional musical instruments. Kiec Gardens will also be at the Global Village Market with their adorable handmade wooden flower pot characters.



Market Place Markets Manager, Matthew Hartwell is excited to bring this event to Kilmarnock this June:
"We always look forward to bringing a great event to Kilmarnock, and as one of our larger events of the year, it is always a huge hit with our Global traders. The City Centre will be welcoming a fantastic variety of traders from all across the globe with authentic products, not to be found anywhere else!”

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
