Fair trade Fortnight

As we enter Fair trade Fortnight we want to celebrate G and G Global Gift Collection who are regulars at Market Place events. 

The Portsmouth based business is ran by a husband and wife duo, Richard and Angela who travel the country together, bringing their beautiful fair trade products to a fantastic number of cities and towns across the UK and Northern Ireland.

G and G Global Gift Collection offer a selection of wooden furniture, carvings and figurines which are all Fair Trade and ecologically sourced. These are ideal for a unique gift, something for around the house or even to decorate your garden with! 






G and G Global Gift Collection are all set to attend a number of Market Place locations this year including Glasgow, Stoke, Leicester, Halifax, Cookstown, Lincoln, Nottingham and many more!

Pitch for a Free Market Stall at Harborough Market

Harborough District Council is offering new food businesses the chance to test their business ideas for free at their award winning Harborough Indoor Market. Harborough Market, which is operated by Market Place, is participating in the high profile, Love Your Local Market Campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities. They are offering a 6-week rent free period in a bid to attract new traders to the hall and to promote the market as the ideal location for start-up businesses.
