Market Place to kick off delicious Spring calendar in Nottingham



From Wednesday 9th March to Sunday 13th March 2016 the Old Market Square will be home to an array of Continental traders, bringing a burst of flavour all the way from South Africa, Germany, Greece and more! There will be plenty of countries for visitors to explore at this family friendly event which will offer a fantastic atmosphere to the Square. 






The Greek Grill House will be bringing a range of Gyro meat skewers, dips & Greek origin cheeses as the Traditional German Schwenkegrille will be cooking Bratwurst and Currywurst Sausages on a huge circular charcoal grill. Market Place will also be bringing The Noodle Bar, offering the flavours of Thailand including Noodles, rice, Spring rolls, Thai green curries, sweet and sour dishes to suit all preferences. 


Once you’ve explored all the tastes of the world, you can relax and wash down your exotic lunch with a number of alcoholic flavoured mead wines or even visit our Polish Bar with a variety of Polish beers and wine, the perfect way to end your Global experience. 


Friday 11th March we will be celebrating Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day. We hope to have a number of waffles, pancakes, crepes and more all available with a selection of toppings and sauces such as chocolate!


Opening hours of the Nottingham Global Market are:

Wednesday - Saturday: 09:00 to 18:00  

Sunday: 10:00 to 17:00
