Exeter set for a unique experience!



The Exeter Christmas Market has reached its 4th year and is bigger and better than ever with even more businesses joining us in 2015, new flavours to taste and unique craft to explore. We are also thrilled this year to be able to introduce the BBC Experience Dome!

Do you want to have your picture taken with Doctor Who? Or present the news and weather? Present the Chart Show? Or meet some of the stars of CBeebies’ Furchester Hotel? Inside the “live” BBC Experience dome, you can come on a tour of the BBC and try your hand at making some of the huge range of programmes it creates. You can also see a demonstration by the BBC Blue Room, which showcases cutting-edge technology and new ways to access the BBC.



This exciting new dome will be open Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December and will be available within the Cathedral grounds for roughly 7-8 hours a day and is completely free for all visitors!

Opening dates and times for the market are:
Monday – Wednesday: 10am – 7pm (bars till 7:15pm)
Thursday – Saturday: 10am – 9pm (bars till 9:15pm)
Sunday: 11am – 6pm

Sheffield Global Village Market

From Wednesday 6 th - Sunday 10 th July, Market Place will be bringing a huge selection of traders from across the globe to Sheffield for a fantastic 6-day Global Village Market. Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a great variety of tasty treats and unique crafts and gifts from all over the world! Along Fargate will be the Greek Grill House who along with business owner, Dimitrios will be offering the famous and extremely traditional flavours of Greece. After owning a busy restaurant in Zante, Dimitrios believes his tasty Greek foods are so popular because they take you back to your holiday as all ingredients from the Pitta Bread and flour used to the cooking methods are all traditional and authentic. From Wednesday 2 nd to Sunday 6 th November 2016, Market Place will be returning to Sheffield with an array of traders representing a number of countries from across the world. Bringing the very best flavours, crafts and goodies, there is bound to be something for everyone at this family friendly event. Hungry shoppers will have plenty of culinary delicacies to choose from including authentic French cheeses, Spanish paella cooked to a traditional family recipe, Italian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven at the market, delicious Greek gyros, succulent hog roast and even Thai noodles!
