Christmas Market Photo Competition 2015

The festive season is nearly upon us and to celebrate Market Place are offering you the chance to win £50 worth of vouchers to spend at our Christmas markets!

We love seeing all the fantastic photos of you and your families enjoying the festivities at our Christmas Markets and we’d love to see more. Send us your photos of visits to the Christmas Market and you could win a £50 voucher to spend as you please.
Your photos don’t have to be taken with the best camera and they can be of any aspect of your visit to the Christmas Markets: from sipping the strawberry flavoured beer at Laverys in Belfast, paying a visit to Santa’s beautiful grotto in Newcastle, to munching on a sausage from the huge German Schwenkgrille in Exeter or the delicious Dutch pancakes at the Glasgow Christmas Market! If you’re wearing your favourite Christmas jumper at the same time, even better!

Sheffield Global Village Market

From Wednesday 6 th - Sunday 10 th July, Market Place will be bringing a huge selection of traders from across the globe to Sheffield for a fantastic 6-day Global Village Market. Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a great variety of tasty treats and unique crafts and gifts from all over the world! Along Fargate will be the Greek Grill House who along with business owner, Dimitrios will be offering the famous and extremely traditional flavours of Greece. After owning a busy restaurant in Zante, Dimitrios believes his tasty Greek foods are so popular because they take you back to your holiday as all ingredients from the Pitta Bread and flour used to the cooking methods are all traditional and authentic. From Wednesday 2 nd to Sunday 6 th November 2016, Market Place will be returning to Sheffield with an array of traders representing a number of countries from across the world. Bringing the very best flavours, crafts and goodies, there is bound to be something for everyone at this family friendly event. Hungry shoppers will have plenty of culinary delicacies to choose from including authentic French cheeses, Spanish paella cooked to a traditional family recipe, Italian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven at the market, delicious Greek gyros, succulent hog roast and even Thai noodles!
