Leicester set to be bursting with enchanting flavour and charming smells this Halloween

Gallowtree and Humberston Gate are to be jam-packed with over 50 Continental traders who will be joining us from all corners of the globe with a fantastic variety of products to best represent their country of origin. Over 5 days there will be freshly cooked foods, unique gifts and crafts as well as a fantastic energetic family atmosphere from Wednesday 28 th October – Sunday 1 st November 2015.  Just a few of the countries set to be found at the Continental Market include India, Jamaica, South Africa, Germany, Greece, Poland, Italy and many more!  Just some of the tasty treats which will be drawing shoppers in will include authentic Indian cooking sauces and foods, a selection of cheeses from across the globe, freshly cooked French crepes and breads, a huge range of olives, Spanish paella and a Thai Noodle Bar. Continental Market to return to Hanley, Stoke after high demand

After the huge success of the Continental Market in April earlier this year, Market Place is delighted to be returning to Hanley this October to bring even more Continental flavour and craft to Stoke! From Wednesday 21 st – Sunday 24 th October, an exciting variety of traders will be presenting a range of flavour, craft and gifts from across the world.      Some of the countries to be represented include India, Jamaica, Italy, Spain, Greece, Welsh, France, Germany, Belgium and more! Generous shoppers at Harboorugh Market

Harborough Market is delighted with the response to its food bank collection which took place during British Food Fortnight at the market on Northampton Road. Market food hall traders ran special offers during the annual celebration of British produce to highlight their fabulous local products, but also felt it was a perfect opportunity to raise awareness that not everyone has the same access to food as others by collecting food for the Market Harborough Jubilee Food Bank. Colin, Rosemarie, Joan, Derek and Margaret Since its launch in 2012 the Jubilee Food Bank volunteers have been collecting, sorting and delivering basic food to referring agencies to help people in food crisis. This crisis might be caused by delays to benefit payments, by money just not going far enough or by sudden changes in family circumstances.
